Shaft Grounding Assemblies

Automotive manufacturers have increasingly encountered the problem of capacitive interference currents ever since electrical mobility started gaining momentum. Originating from the rotor shafts of electric drives, these interference currents can cause severe bearing or gear damage and broadband radio interference. The cause lies in the electric drive and the components associated with it. Our new type of shaft grounding provides effective protection against bearing damage with simultaneous damping of interference signals emitted from the shaft up to a frequency of about 50 MHz.
