Conventional pantographs reach their limits wherever overhead contact lines are significantly higher than standard. This is particularly true on freight corridors operating double-stack container trains, where additional clearance requires higher overhead line systems. Schunk's High-Reach Pantograph has been specifically engineered to meet these demanding operating conditions. 

Designed for an extended working range, the current collector maintains stable contact with the overhead contact line across its full operating envelope. This ensures reliable current collection, even at high operating speeds, while supporting low wear on both the pantograph and the overhead line.
