A total of 70 apprentices and dual students started their careers on August 1 at the Schunk Group's locations in central Hessen. 47 new apprentices are being trained in Heuchelheim and Wettenberg, and 18 young men and women started their training at Weiss Technik in Reiskirchen-Lindenstruth. The optical machine manufacturer OptoTech in Wettenberg, which has also been part of the Schunk Group since last November, is training five new apprentices this year.
With a total of 19 different technical and commercial apprenticeships, seven dual Bachelor's and three Master's courses, the Schunk Group is one of the largest trainers in the region. After successful completion of the training, the company offers very good permanent employment opportunities with personal and professional aptitude.

In order to facilitate the decision for the dream occupation, the company organizes the annual training day. At Weiss Technik in Reiskirchen this takes place on 07.09.19 from 10 to 14. Schunk invites together with OptoTech to the training center in Heuchelheim on 21.09.19 from 9 am to 1 pm. Pupils and their parents are invited to visit the training workshop, look over the trainee's shoulder and find out all about the training opportunities and the application procedure.
