Schunk takes another step in employee orientation and introduces an additional company pension. All employees worldwide will benefit from this starting in 2024.

Employee participation in the company's success has long been part of the corporate culture at the Schunk technology company. For example, the employees of the foundation company receive a profit share and loyalty bonus every year, depending on business development.

Now Schunk is going one step further and introducing a "Schunk Pension for All." "Schunk has developed impressively despite all the challenges of recent years, and we are looking to the future with confidence," says Dr. Arno Roth, CEO of the Schunk Group. "Our dedicated employees have played a key role in shaping this success. Their extraordinary commitment deserves lasting recognition. That is why Schunk will allow them to participate in the company's success beyond their active working lives in the future," Dr. Roth continued.

New company pension in addition to existing arrangements

The new "Schunk Pension for All" is based on the Schunk company pension already established at many German locations. Based on this, Schunk will proactively and voluntarily contribute to the retirement provision of all employees worldwide starting in 2024. In Germany, the technology company is extending the Schunk company pension, which currently applies to some companies, to all German companies. For companies outside of Germany, there will be country-specific regulations to support employees in their retirement planning.

"The 'Schunk Pension for All' is a very special initiative, the likes of which can only be found in a few companies," Gunthard Sommer, Chairman of the Board of the Ludwig Schunk Foundation, and Dr. Arno Roth emphasize the unusual step. "At Schunk, all employees worldwide should benefit from our joint success as a company - not only during their active working lives, but also in old age."
