Schunk welcomes new apprentices

At the four Schunk locations in central Hesse, 53 young people - by far - are starting their careers

This year, a total of 53 trainees and dual students are starting their careers at the Schunk Group's locations in Central Hesse. In Heuchelheim and Wettenberg, 32 new apprentices will be trained, while 16 young men and women will start their apprenticeships at Weiss Technik in Reiskirchen-Lindenstruth. OptoTech in Wettenberg, the optics machine manufacturer OptoTech, which is also part of the Schunk Group, is training 5 new apprentices this year.

"We have implemented comprehensive hygiene concepts at our locations in order to continue to provide excellent training while protecting the health of our trainees and employees. Now we are pleased to welcome so many new young people to our company," says Steffen Friedrich, Head of Human Resources Germany.
With a total of 17 different technical and commercial apprenticeships, eight dual bachelor's and three master's degree programs, the Schunk Group is one of the largest training providers in the region. After successful completion of the training, the company offers very good permanent employment opportunities if the trainee is personally and professionally qualified.

Free training positions for 2021 / days of training are cancelled
While the new apprentices are starting their careers, the application process for the 2021 training year is already underway.
For corona reasons, the training days planned for September at the Heuchelheim and Reiskirchen-Lindenstruth locations will not take place this year.
