Scope of performance:

The air-conditioning system of the unit is extended in order to meet the mentioned test specifications
Compressed air connection
Test programs stored in control unit
Function test according to standards in the factory.

Please note:

The temperature and humidity curve of these test specifications is idealised and can be interpreted in many ways. Outside the climate range specified in the technical data, the humidity is uncontrolled and is not measured. If temperature and humidity change simultaneously, the relative humidity may deviate from the idealised curve. The temperature change rate is almost constant for the designed test standard in the applicable program sections and is proven with the control sensor. Limitations of standard unit single-stage, -40 °C: In the cooling range between -30 °C and -40 °C, the temperature change rate deviates from the required setpoint by 0.2 K/min. to 0.8 K/min., depending on the chamber size and specimen mass. All verifications apply without thermal load / humidity load with 10 kg simulation test specimen (electronic boards). All control constants given in the technical data apply in steady state. The relative humidity is adjusted to the setpoint with a time delay after the temperature setpoint is adjusted. A peak cannot be completely avoided while the relative humidity is activated. When cooling below +20 °C, the relative humidity can no longer follow the setpoint curve (humidity peak possible).

Standard BMW PR 303.5 is met without additional equipment in the basic version of the test chamber.
