Schunk is happy about your visit to our website and your interest in our company and products. We take the protection of your private data seriously and want you to feel comfortable visiting our Internet sites. Protecting your private sphere while processing personal data is an important matter to us, one which we take into account while carrying out our business processes. We process personal data ascertained during visits to our websites in accordance with the data-protection regulations of the country in which the authority responsible for data processing is located. Our data-protection policy also conforms with the corporate data-protection guidelines which apply for Schunk.

Acquisition and processing of personal data

When you visit our website, our web servers save, by default and among other things, information on the browser and operating system you are using, the website from which you are visiting us, those of our websites which you are visiting, the date of the visit and, for security reasons (e.g. for the identification of attacks against our website, and for a period of 7 days), the IP address which was assigned to you by your Internet service provider. With the exception of the IP address, personal data is only saved if you enter it for registration purposes, a survey, a contest or to execute a contract, for example.

Use and disclosure of personal data and appropriation

Schunk only uses your personal data for the purposes of technical administration of the website, customer management, product surveys and marketing to the extent required.

Should incorrect information be saved despite our efforts to ensure data correctness and up-to-dateness, we will correct it upon your request.
