The Schunk Group is active at five locations in Central Hesse. As a sign of the good partnership, the technology company supports the location communities with a donation for social purposes.

"This is where most of our active and former employees live, and we are pleased when they also benefit from a good social network in the communities," explained Gunthard Sommer, CEO of the Ludwig Schunk Foundation, during the handover to the representatives of the communities. "For this reason, and as a sign of the good partnership, its location communities have supported for many years with a donation for social purposes."

A total of 20,000 euros will thus go to the communities of Heuchelheim, Wettenberg, Biebertal, Lollar and Reiskirchen. Reiner Bader (Heuchelheim alderman), Marc Nees (mayor of Wettenberg), Patricia Ortmann (mayor of Biebertal) and Dr. Bernd Wieczorek (mayor of Lollar) each accepted a check for 4,000 euros for their community at Schunk's corporate headquarters.

The technology company employs around 3,800 people at its six sites in the five communities.
