SBF: pneumatic spring-loaded lowering device

SBF: pneumatic spring-loaded lowering device

The pantographs of the SBF Line are single arm pantographs with a spring raising mechanism and have a pneumatic spring-loaded lowering device integrated into the base frame of the pantograph. The pantographs of the SBF Line are based on our SBE pantographs, all essential components with the exception of the electrical lowering device have been adopted from the SBE. A low volume supply of compressed air is sufficient for the operation of this pantograph. The pantographs of the SBF Line are well suited for light vehicles and trams.
