SBL: air bellow suspension system

The pantographs of the SBL Line are single arm pantographs with an air bellow suspension system integrated into the base frame of the pantograph. The basic design of these pantographs was adopted from our WBL pantographs, and although various components were adapted to the demands placed on pantographs used on light rail vehicles, the essential characteristics of the WBL pantographs were retained. A prerequisite for the use of this pantograph is a compressed air supply with sufficient volume. The pantographs of the SBL Line are well suited for light vehicles and trams.
