Our pantographs are distinguished by a high degree of lateral rigidity, individually suspended sliding strips, low overall weight, minimum service requirements and hydraulic pantograph damping. Optimally adapted to suit your application, Schunk pantographs really get rail stock rolling.

Schunk has its own production facilities for pantographs in Austria, Sweden, Spain, USA, India and China. Furthermore, Schunk pantographs are produced by a number of licensed partners for their respective local markets.

The current collector is a novelty development for third rail applications comprising, among other things, the following features:

• double insulation by means of fully insulated
  mounting plate to the bogie
• maintenance-free bearings
• maintenance-free pneumatic cylinder

The current collector has passed all type tests (shock, vibration, insulation) and also operational and performance tests.
