Machined Plates

The graphites developed by Schunk for this range of application are characterized by minimal wetting to molten glass and a low reactivity with metals. This makes it an optimal material for the production of glass / metal seals. Schunk supplies both, finish machined forms as well as pre-fabricated plates. Due to our experience and broad range of materials, we are able to provide solutions for complex / critical applications.
